I’m not sure what this vine is, but it’s everywhere right now, and it’s just about the most colourful thing I’ve ever seen. Those berries look tempting, but the consumption of them would end in tears, I’m sure. Anyone know what this is? It grows on fences and the sides of buildings and stuff.

Juniper, maybe, or something related?

Hi melissa,
When I saw the pic, I thought it was blueberry, but, searching a little it seems more to be “huckleberry”.
Will you take the risk and taste it???

There’s a poisonous fruit called “Atropa belladonna ” and it looks very like grapes. Fruits in this photo looks like “Atropa belladonna ” but being a non-botanist, I’m not sure. Better not to taste I guess.

My first thought was ‘blueberries!” But. . .alas I bet it’s not. The fruit doesn’t look deep blue enough. Better not take the chance. We’ll never hear from you again.
