This is where you eat lunch at Phaselis, and yes, you have to wade out there to get your food. The toasties were exceptionally good, though.

My friend Jools and I headed out to Phaselis for the day with Jools’ dog, Luna. Luna is a little afraid of the sea, but after a while she learned to dig it, with the help of her boogie board.

Write your own woodworking joke.
[Thanks to Mack at Antalya Expats for this one]

Same stunning cloud cover. All I have to do is show up and there it is.

You’d be shocked at just how little editing was done to this photo, and no colour or contrast work whatsoever. This is what I love about an Antalya autumn— the colours aren’t shy about coming out to greet you.

A typical September afternoon segues into evening. I love this time of year.

We’re going to start having a new kind of fun. Autumn and winter are the best times to take videos around here, and now I have just the thing to capture them.
Bear with me; I’m still getting to grips with this thing. It’s a totally different skill from still image capture.

I’m published again! This time for music writing rather than photography. The Daily Book of Classical Music is available at your favourite retailer. I’m very pleased with the end result, and I’m very proud to have been a part of this book. It’s great for an end-of-year gift, as it’s a 365 and most people will probably want to start reading at the beginning of January.

I hope everyone had a great Bayram— as usual we ate too much, but if you don’t eat too much then you haven’t done it properly.
So now, back to life as normal.

There’s a reason it’s called a WINDow.
Joke, joke. I have no idea about the etymology of the word.
