For me, it’s the most vibrant time of the year.

A harbinger of things to come.

And this was the calmest, warmest part of the day, 6° and rainy. It got colder from there, and we even had some snow flurries at sea level.

If you live on the southern coast and you haven’t left the house yet this morning… bundle up! It’s cold and windy and the rain is starting to come down. It’s definitely hot chocolate weather.

I have no idea where this came from originally, but this little video seems to be making the rounds at the moment on Facebook. There are some titles in Turkish, but I’m pretty sure you’ll understand what’s going on even if you can’t read the words.

Yesterday I was fortunate enough to be invited to the fabulous five-star Kempinski resort in Belek, aptly called The Dome. I had a fantastic time and the place is simply gorgeous.

Thanks for all your well-wishes on every social network everywhere— I’m pleased to announce that my ear has settled down as a result of truly superb Turkish medical care (honestly, best ENT treatment experience ever), and I’m feeling much better and just about ready to roll. Expect regular posting again as of Monday.
