Nearly three years ago, a sculpture was erected in my old home of Kemer, and, long story short, some people found it unacceptable. In fact, they managed to get it removed— much to the dismay of the artist, the people of Kemer, and of course myself.
However… the court has now ordered the sculpture to be put back! Honestly, I couldn’t be happier. I hope they get it done soon, and congratulations to Zafer Sarı for having his work restored to his former glory. He has been treated abhorrently by the municipal government of Kemer, and I’m glad he’s getting the compensation he deserves.
