Thursday is bazaar day! No. 25

What, still using the old cameraphone? Well, for this, yeah. Sometimes one needs to be a bit covert, you see. No one would mistake a silver digital camera for anything other than what it is. But a phone? Well, everyone has one of those. It’s just a phone after all, right? No harm there. Heh. Anyway, I promise I’ll take some photos with the new camera soon. Meanwhile let’s get on with it, shall we?

bazaar

Orn music— you know, like French orn, English orn…

bazaar

From the surrealist school of shirt-making.

bazaar

Ironic that the one word they misspelled…

bazaar

No doubt this is for the girlfriend of Home Boy.

bazaar

Great time, full action, sounds good so far… wait, not hard for a yard? Forget it.

bazaar

The highlight of this one is behind the number 39, where if you look carefully it says, “winner: category of league, international.” I wonder how much competition there was in that category.

bazaar

The only reason I snapped this one was because I was suspicious about the name of the institution, for obvious reasons. I’ve Googled both “Freetown University” and “Sierra Leone Elementary Black College,” and the closest I came was learning that there is a University of Sierra Leone in Freetown… but Elementary Black College? It just seems so mid-20th-century to me. Maybe it does really exist, though.

bazaar

And speaking of a complete lack of political correctness, write your own George Michael joke here.

bazaar

Mountains: established 1978. But I thought Victoria Beckham didn’t get her implants until twenty years after that…

bazaar

BEATiful days, blue and black… get it? Beat? Blue and black? Ah, if that’s a good night, I’d hate to see a bad one.

If you want to see more of these, the bazaar archive is here, and don’t forget that the online bazaar shop is coming soon. See you guys tomorrow.

Well I think the Sierra Leone t-shirts looks totally legit. It would fool 99.99% folks here in sunny SoCal. I met a very nice server at the Cheesecake Factory last night. I assumed she was from Mexico (she looked like a Cruz/Hayek cross) and I blabbed away in my crappyist Esapanol, turns out she was from Bulgaria, so you never can tell. Perhaps the next server I have that I think is Mexican will be an alumni from Freetown University, Sierra Leone.
