I don’t think I have to say too much about these— as I mentioned in my previous post I was invited to the Kervansaray Lara 5-star resort last night, and I kinda went nuts with the picture-taking. Here are some of my favourites.
Reception, from the top of the escalator.
Elevator 24.
The main hallway.
The television lounge.
One of the bars.
Another bar area.
Elevator 22.
Strange-but-beautiful coloured light rods, which gradually change hue over time.
The big red monster in front of elevator 21.
The chillout room.
An excellent time was had by all— the hotel is as wonderful as it looks. the food is great, and the drinks are even better. So… what did you do with your Tuesday evening?
How!!!! Very nice! Looks like a fun spot to visit!

@damion: thanks for your comments about the photos – there are many interesting people there from countries all over the world… it’s a great place to sit and watch cultures mix.

@Vergel: admittedly it’s particularly awesome at night, but it’s pretty special during the day, too – amenities are amenities, after all.

What a place. I should keep note of it l on my list of possible honey-moon spots!
PS. I just discovered your blog site yesterday, and I think all your posts are wonderfully insightful and just pure fun to read. I can’t wait to visit Turkey!

@Vivian: thanks for your flattering comments – you could definitely do a lot worse than coming here for your honeymoon (lots of people do), though I wouldn’t recommend it in the peak of the summer unless you like hell-hot weather.

That’s insane. I wish I had taken shots of the hotel that I stayed at last night; it would be amusing to compare my stay in 3 Star glory.
I’m fairly sure that even our 5 Star hotels aren’t as impressive as that.

@melissah: You know, I’m not sure I’ve ever even been in a 5-star anywhere else but Turkey. I’ve always been more of bed-n-breakfast kind of girl.
