The walled old town in Antalya holds a lot of older buildings that have what I would call a “charming amount of decay,” and what others may call “unacceptable levels of dilapidation.” I understand that certain structures may be unsafe and need to be stabilised, but I hope there’s never a day when everything in Kaleiçi is new and “perfect,” as I think that would take away from the old-world appeal of it.
