Autumn Colour

People usually do their flowery-naturey photos in spring, but in Antalya, autumn is the season for that sort of thing.

The road to winter here is not about things dying, but about different sorts of things coming to life.

Everyone keeps asking me about my snazzy new macro lens, but the truth is, it’s just my old plastic kit lens with some macro screw-ons. The whole setup cost me about ten bucks.

Y’all should know me better by now than to think I’d actually buy a lens just to go out and shoot a bit of nature. I do have a few lenses on my wish list, but a macro’s not one of them.

I’m rediscovering how pretty things can be when you look at them close-up, though.

There are so many snails about, it’s a wonder there are any plants left at all.

This season really sets me on fire.
