The Bizarre

truckette

I see a lot of weird things at the bazaar that I take photos of, but they don’t really fall into the same category as the funny/weird t-shirts, so they never end up here. Anyway, a friend of mine pointed out that you might like to see some of the behind-the-scenes oddities as well, so I’m going to make more of an effort to share.

Yeah, it’s a three-wheeled, single-occupant truckette. It’s street-legal and everything— not that anyone pays attention to things like street legality here.

That is so cool! I have seen them before though. You typical three wheeled suicidal delivery truck. Powered by a motorcycle engine. I love the way you photographed it. The subject clear and the colorful background blurry, like an impressionist water color. Bring on the oddities! I for one will vote yes.

I would so drive one of these to work. And proudly wear an UNLIMITED 92 shirt on Highway 92.

*That* would be an awesome sight. We live a half hour from the Daytona speedway. Now I’m imagining a track full of these truckettes, bumping and jostling each other along the straights, heading into the high-banked turns… and falling over because they’re (a) top-heavy and (b) too slow.
