I saw the work of Berrin Yavuzer about a week ago, and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it since, so I thought I’d stop being selfish and share with everyone. Berrin is a Turkish artist who studied in Istanbul and then relocated to the San Francisco Bay area in 2001, in an effort to infiltrate the American art scene. She does some digital work, but my favourite pieces are the large acrylics which typically depict fish or other aquatic scenes. Her work is both straightforward and ethereal, and I encourage you to check her out. Link
